Apple Dessert

Oat flakes and apple mixed together in a tasty low carb dessert you can enjoy while giving your body fiber, vitamins and minerals.

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup oat bran flakes
1 teaspoon margarine
6 apples, washed and sliced
1 cup apple juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash of ground clove
4 tablespoons granola

PREPARATION:

Spread margarine on the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan and sprinkle the oats.
Add the sliced apples, apple juice, cinnamon, and clove. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 °F for one hour.
Remove from oven, discard aluminum foil, and spread with granola.
Bake 15 minutes more.
Makes 6 servings.
